Therapy for Midlife

Burn the Midlife Rules

Midlife Therapy for the Woman Who Refuses to Settle

I see you, standing in the middle of your life, caught between the vibrant woman you were and the powerhouse you’re meant to become. Menopause might have hijacked your body and your energy, leaving you flashing, fatigued, and wondering where that younger, unstoppable self disappeared. Maybe regrets, roads not taken, and choices you wish you could undo swirl through your mind and make you question everything. This is the time to hit pause and regroup. Therapy at this stage isn’t about tiptoeing around feelings (we ususally do)—you need a guide who will help you slow it all down, track every emotion, hover over the hard parts you’ve ignored or buried, and teach you how to interpret what you feel into deliberate, powerful action. I will help learn to hold your emotions, not be held hostage by them, and translate every surge of anxiety, anger, or sadness into choices that move your life forward.

I Want You To Have The Most Vibrant Second Half

You are in chrysalis form. You haven’t crossed over. You haven’t emerged. It’s unmooring. It’s raw. And it’s exactly why you need a guide who knows how to navigate the terrain of midlife with precision and care. I’m that guide. I help you slow down, listen to your body, and make sense of the emotions swirling through you. Through somatic work and bottom-up EFIT techniques, we track your body’s signals so your nervous system stops running the show—and you start making conscious choices. Through integrated parts work, we untangle the voices you’ve carried for decades—the self-doubt, the people-pleasing, the anger and shame—and help them work for you instead of against you. Infused with attachment science, I show you how patterns of love and hurt from your past still shape your present—and how to shift them so you can connect, feel safe, and step fully into your power.

I want you to look in the mirror and meet the woman who’s been waiting for you all along—the beautiful, wrinkled, vivacious woman staring back. You carry regrets—yes—but you hold them honestly. You’ve made mistakes—but you’re ready to release them, learn from them, and turn that knowledge into confidence and hutzpah. You’re ready to stop performing for the world, stop keeping the peace, and start showing up fully as yourself. You’re ready to travel, explore, laugh, discover new friends, and reclaim the energy, curiosity, and fire you thought midlife had taken from you. I’m here to make sure you don’t just survive this stage—you emerge transformed and unstoppable.

Your Second Act Won’t Wait.

I know you’re dealing with a body that won’t obey, emotions that boil over for no reason, and self-doubt always at the ready. I also know you want to feel happy and grounded again — and you can. You’re not ‘too much’ or crazy — forgetting where you parked the car doesn’t mean the next half of your life will be filled with incontinence and despair. Let’s get you back on track.

FAQs about Therapy for Midlife

Who is this therapy really for?

For any woman feeling midlifey. I’m not putting a number on it — you know who you are.

Your body is changing. Your kids are building lives of their own. Your work — whether in an office or managing a home — feels flat. You’re tired of hiding, shrinking, and sacrificing your own interests. You feel stuck in old thought patterns that don’t fit who you’re becoming.

And you want a therapist who’s been there — someone your age, or older — so you don’t have to feel embarrassed talking about your leaking pee or your saggy body parts.

If this resonates, this therapy is for you.

How is this therapy different from “regular talk therapy”?
We work with your body as much as your emotions. Somatic work, attachment patterns, parts work, and bottom-up EFIT help you feel through the grief, self-consciousness, and worries.  It's one stop shopping for your nervous system.  It's healing on a whole new level.

Will this help me understand why I feel the way I do?
Absolutely. And it won't just help you understand in a cognitive way (although it will do that too) but in a "aha - I just figured it out because my body feels like a weight was just taken off my shoulders and I'm ready for my next adventure" kinda way.

What if I’ve carried regret or shame for decades?
Then I'd love to help you finally put it down.  No time like the present. I want to help you go into your next chapter without that weight.  Imagine a life where regret is something you can name, say out loud, see as a part of your journey to who you are?  We can get you there. That’s exactly why you’re here.

What results can I expect?
After the initial discomfort of letting your feelings into the light you'll begin to feel more grounded and calm.  No reason to run, distract, or deflect anymore - you're learning to let the feelings come.  You’ll feel more in touch with your emotions. You’ll show up differently in relationships, career, and life. You’ll rediscover your energy, curiosity, and fire. You’ll meet the woman in the mirror and finally know her—wrinkles, flab, regrets, and all.

How fast will I see change?

I know why you're asking this — but I have to be honest, I hate this question. Life is hard, and for most of us, patterns take root in ways that run deep. Shifting them takes time, and therapy shouldn't feel like a race to the finish line.

At the same time, I always want to stay relevant to your goals. I’ll keep us focused and working at the depth needed for true limbic revision — the kind of change that lasts.

And if either of us ever feels like we’re stuck, we’ll talk about it. That conversation alone is often what helps clients break through to new levels of understanding.
