You Know You Can't Keep Living Like This

Therapy for Women in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, and Florida

You are carrying a story you can't tell your friends, your family, or your coworkers.

From the outside, you look like you have it all together. You show up, you smile, and you say "I'm fine" - but you're most certainly not.

Behind closed doors, you are managing a quiet crisis. You desperately need a space where you don’t have to edit your thoughts, anticipate someone else's reaction, or face judgment. A place where you can finally stop holding your breath.

The secret of your straying (or considering straying) stays locked inside. You're afraid to share with family and friends and face the judgement and accusations. Or you've shared and now you're desperate to find your way out either by reconciling or leaving. Neither seems like the right option 100% of the time.

You are surviving a bomb dropping on your life, the affair of your partner, but you find yourself hiding  full extent of the betrayal from family and friends. You hold it in because you don't want them to hate your partner forever if you choose to stay, or judge you if you want to leave.

People think divorce is just legal paperwork, but you are quietly navigating psychological warfare. You minimize how bad it really is when talking to family because you don't want to burn them out with the daily, draining updates.

The truth as I see it: Good people make incredibly complex choices when they are profoundly lonely or disconnected. Protecting everyone else while your own world is burning is a lonely, exhausting trauma. Documenting threats, walking on eggshells, and bracing every time your phone lights up with a notification is deeply isolating.

The hardest part isn't knowing what to do. It's knowing how to trust yourself when everything you thought you knew has been turned upside down. You may love your partner and still be furious with them. You may want to leave and still grieve the life you thought you'd have together. You may want to stay and be terrified of what that choice will cost you.

You don't have to have those answers right now. You need a way out of the constant second-guessing. Out of the shame. Out of the exhausting effort to keep everyone else comfortable while you're barely holding it together. For now, you just need somewhere to tell the truth about how bad things have gotten.

Therapy will be the place where the mask comes off. You don't have to edit your thoughts, put a happy spin on things, or have any idea what your next steps are. We can find them together.

If you're ready to find the courage to stop settling for scraps of connection. To trust yourself again. To flirt with your desires again. To give yourself permission to want more from love, from relationships, and from your life.

This time is entirely yours. Let's help you forge a path back to yourself again.
